UN-Habitat report: Partnering for transformative SDG-oriented urban development

Download the full report from UN-Habitat.

Based on experiences with the Global Future Cities Programme (GFCP), the report provides recommendations for international donors, city authorities, UN agencies, and delivery partners about how to design and run multi-partner urban development initiatives that drive transformative impact and accelerate SDG implementation in rapidly urbanising cities.

As a consultant and lead author, I supported the UN-Habitat team by:

  • Helping organise an Expert Group Meeting on SDG-Oriented Urban Design and writing a news story for the UN-Habitat website.

  • Facilitating a write shop for the report contributors

  • Interviewing key GFCP partners to gather inputs for the report

  • Advising on report structure and design

  • Writing and editing the report, working closely with all contributors to guide report development.
